• Develop, deploy and support mobile computing infrastructure on a global basis.
• Work proactively within your “extended” organization to maintain technology solutions that meet infrastructure and security guidelines.
• Create and maintain a database of mobile computing components that work within the framework of your Information Technology guidelines.
• Establish vendor relationships that allow for a total solution to be made available to operating companies - “One-Stop-Shopping”.
• Uniquely blend wired, wireless, and mobile device deployment capabilities into an offering that meets your requirements.
• Share information across your enterprise to take advantage of lessons learned.
• Work closely with your internal compliance team to insure that qualification documentation is available in advance of project start.
• Work with business and technology management on capital appropriations process to minimize the time required to develop the business justification and related business documentation.
• Maintain technology capability to insure that we will be prepared to change with the changing business requirements (802.11a/b/g, 802.16, RFID, WAN/LAN convergence are examples).
• Act consultative and deliver a solution – develop and deploy technology solutions that meet business needs.
